Alison Howe BACPSTR
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), a Registered Sandplay Therapist with AST and a Certified Clay Therapist.
I have a Diploma in Person Centred Therapeutic Counselling and work with adults, young people and children. I have experience counselling in a hospice, youth agency, secondary, middle and primary schools. I currently work in primary schools, as well as a children’s advocate in Child Protection. I am a volunteer counsellor for a youth agency and am a counsellor in private practice.
I have a special interest in trauma and have completed training in Internal Family Systems Levels 1, 2 and 3.
My focus in the last few years is with working with children and developing my creative therapeutic work. I am very lucky to have discovered Sandplay and completed training with Eunice Stagg in 2016. It has been an exciting journey of growth for me personally and professionally. This deep way of working is transformational and fits very well with my therapeutic approach and other trainings. I am a Certified Clay Therapist following training with Lynn Souter-Andersen.
