Lynette Yeo Balota MAMAST
I was first exposed to Sandtray work when I did a course on Expressive Therapy around 2005.
Subsequently, I underwent training for PlayTherapy and was thrilled to experience making my own sand trays and found the work intriguing both personally and also with my children clients.
I have been using Sandplay with my adult clients and incorporating my learning of Play Therapy, I continue to encourage my clients to use my sand trays and figurines for their therapy.
For 4 years now, I have also been encouraged by having sand play work as part of my retreat work with a group of fellow practitioners, facilitated by our dear mentor, Eunice Stagg. We have all personally grown as a result of this regular work, coupled by our own studies of Jung.
Currently I am undergoing an AST Certified Sandplay training with Eunice in the hope that it will take my understanding and use of sand play work.
